About Handy Abdi

Installs. Assembles. Connects.

Handy Abdi is a local, bilingually-English/Bengali, multi-skilled handyman and tech installer based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. I built the business to offer one reliable person for the whole job — from electrical and light fittings to flat-pack assembly, laminate flooring, painting, and the growing home-security and smart-tech side.

A practical trade background

I learned hands-on trade skills — electrics, plumbing and general DIY — working alongside an experienced sole trader, gaining real on-site experience before going it alone. That practical foundation means I approach each job properly and safely.

Service with trust

I’ve spent years serving the local community — including through volunteer work and community projects in Scunthorpe — so treating people fairly and communicating clearly matters to me. English & Bengali support means nothing gets lost in translation.

Based locally
